Nicolette Douglas Obituary
Nicolette Jordan Douglas, 18, a native and resident of Vacherie, died Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Vacherie. Mass will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her parents, Laura and Patrick "Chuck Wagon" Gravois, and biological father, Billy Douglas; brothers, Dane and Zack Gravois; sister, Macey Gravois; grandparents, Fred and Charlene Godwin, and Marlene Gravois; fiance, Lance Bordelon; her NaNan, Sha Sha; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and her loving pet, Rex.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jerry Faulkner, Francis Gravois, and Frank and Barbara Douglas.
Landry's Funeral Home of Thibodaux is in charge of arrangements.

Wow. I didn't know her, only met her a few times when she came into Tureau's, but I am so sorry for her death. Chuck, I know you mess with me a lot in the store, and I hope you keep up your cheerful attitude. No one should have to die that young, and I know it must be hard for y'all. Laura,Chuck,Zak,Dane and Macey our hearts are broken. Nikki was a beautiful loving young woman who made you smile and always had a smile on her face no matter what the situation. in dealing with your loss. After Jeanie called me the other night with this tragic news I remembered when you would bring Nicolette to Mary Ann's while you worked.
