Richard Broussard Obituary
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Oceana Delatte Broussard; children, Erin Dvorak (Bruce), Michelle Broussard, Rebecca Broussard, Rikki Edwards (Jeffery), and Jason Broussard (Nicole); 11 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Lizzie Broussard Sr.; and brother, George Broussard Jr.
Richard worked in the banking industry for over 40 years. He adored his family. He was a doer, always knowing how to make things work.
Richard will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Love, hugs and prayers to all the Broussards and relatives of Richard. What a sweet guy. Always made me laugh and feel good, and I am sure that was his effect on everyone who knew him. I do regret that my memories are too few, but one thing about my cousins...they all always make me feel like I just saw them yesterday. Special people, special brother, husband, father, uncle, grandfather. We are so proud of his legacy. The world was a nicer place with him in it. Greatly miss having him in the world. But, I am certain that he is feeling good, is eternally young, and having fun forever.
