Roland Domangue Jr. Obituary

Roland "R.J." Joseph Domangue Jr., 57, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2017. He was a native of Houma and a resident of Chauvin.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Friday, Jan. 5; beginning at 10 a.m. until Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at 12 p.m. Burial will be held in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Roland is survived by his son, Dustin Joseph Domangue; daughter, Brittany D. Mitchell and husband, Ryan; grandson, Captain C. Mitchell; sisters, Maria D. Babin and husband, Robin, Penelope "Penny" D. Simmons and husband, William "Billy", Nicole D. Whitney and husband, Rick, and Rochell D. Giroir and husband, Kevin Sr.; and grandmother, Dorina Benoit Thibodaux Dupuis.

Roland was preceded in death by his father, Roland Joseph Sr.; and mother, Betty Jean Thibodaux Domangue; and grandparents, Lucius Thibodaux Sr., and Edward Sr. and Latarina Lirette Domangue.

Chauvin Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
