Alfred Morrey Obituary
1942-2017
Al Morrey, 75, passed away on December 2, 2017 in Clear Lake City. He was born June 22, 1942 in Pittsburg, Kansas to Alfred and Theresa Morrey. Before his retirement Al worked at NASA for 35 years. Playing sports and being outdoors were his favorite pastimes. He is survived by his wife Marie Novosad Morrey and his three children Jeffrey(Dana)Morrey, Tracy(Erik)Nygren, and Gary(Lisa)Morrey. Seven grandchildren brought him great joy. His surviving siblings are Bernard(Carla)Morrey, Mary(Joe)Matuskowitz, Anne(Bill)Quinn, and Michelle(John)Sneed. The family is grateful to Dr. Ganesh Rao and Dr. Rhode Amaria at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center and to Ann Holman and Anna Molina for their care. A visitation will be held Friday, December 8, 2017 from 6-7 pm with a wake at 7 pm at Crowder Funeral Home Webster, TX. A funeral Mass will be celebrated December 9, 2017 at 11:30 am at St. Bernadette Catholic Church.

Al, rest in peace my dear friend and put in a good word for your long time battery mate.My condolences to the Morrey family.I always admired Al and looked up to him.My life has been better having him as a friend.Ora Et Labora buddy!
