Mom and Dad saw fit to have a house filled with seven kids, but even with seven, there was only one big brother for me, Alvin. I remember his smile that would always brighten a room and any situation. I remember an uncontrolable urge to express himself. Alvin didn't just take pictures, draw sketches, paint rooms, remodel or build something. Alvin captured a moment in life with everything that he did, and the moment he captured was something everyone else was in too much of a hurry to see.
Love you always big brother! Mike

Although many years have past since I last saw Alvin, it seems as though it was only a short time ago that we were teens having great times together. Those happy memories will always remain. He will be greatly missed and always loved.

Many years were between visits with my cousin, however, the memories and laughter remain with me always of those times we had together. Alvin was so talented and a compassoniate person. I will always have him in my heart.

Dear Cousins,
I want you to know that all of you are in my thoughts and prayers. Alvin was a special man with special dreams. He will be remembered as a wonderful son, brother, father, grandfather and a terrific cousin.

Even tho we drifted in and out of each others lives, we always connected in the ways that mattered most. I will miss you dearly. Your little sister with the "rose colored glasses". Marylou
