Coach, you will truely be missed by everyone whom you've had a great impact on, which include myself. You were always sitting at your desk on the computer laughing at the crazy things Elbony, Chris, Mike, C'ne and I would talk about even though you pretended not to listen. I remember every morning I would see you and we would tell each other "Good Morning" and it'll be hard to be able to do that anymore. For the Eisenman family your son was an extroadinary man and awesome friend. He will surely be missed.

Dear Eisenman Family,
I am extremely sad to hear of the news about Coach Eisenman. He was my history teacher during my junior year of high school in Lufkin. Not only was he a great teacher, but a great friend also. He was there for us in every way possible and made class something to look forward to each day. I will never forget how kind hearted Coach Eisenman was and how he touched so many lives in the time that he was in Lufkin. He was always supportive of his students and players. Cheering at the basketball games were always fun when Coach Eisenman was around. He has gone somewhere that is so much better than this world could ever amount to and knowing that he is with the Lord makes his passing easier. After reading several entries, it is clear what a wonderful, close knit family you all share, and I know that the Lord will comfort you in this time of sadness. God bless.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of my former coach/ mr, eisenman he was my junior history teacher i loved him dearly he was the only of many teacher/coaches that made learing easy and fun at the same time. I really missed him when he transferred away, and now he is with the lord, so i know he is in a place looking down and watching over his family, friends, and students. Dear Eisenman family-
We just wanted to express our deepest sympathy to you on the passing of Drew. We were just informed this past weekend. My mother received a call from Aunt Mary. Words cannot describe the feeling of sorrow we are feeling at this time. I can recall fond memories of coming to visit with my Dad back in 1991 & 1992, and spending time with all of you. I was always kept abreast through the years of Drew's accomplishments, and my Dad and I were very impressed with the man Drew became.

Drew and I never met face to face. We both participate in a fantasy baseball league with my brother and his friends who knew Drew from his days at SFA.
I know there can be no words that can ever dull the pain of his sudden loss and the tragic circumstances surrounding his death. But I hope that his family, particularly his son as he grows older, find comfort from knowing how many lives he touched.

Becky, Tom, Children and Family. I write this to you with such a heavy heavy heart. My name is Peggy Spencer Krause, Coach Cliff Spencer from Westfield High School was my son. I too share your deep hurt for the loss of your son Drew. I have read all the entries to date on the Chronicle Guest Book for your son Drew, what proud parents you must be. Drew was a loving man, coach, father, son & brother, simply an amazing person. What comfort we as parents receive when we hear from the students, fellow coaches & families. I have especially loved to hear of the stories from players & students. These are stories as parents we sometimes don't hear from our sons, I encourage students to let the Eisenman's know of their personal experiences with Drew and how he touched their lives. It has been very obvious what a great person Drew was. Last weekend I saw several Westfield Coaches, they loved your son and he will be dearly missed.
Becky & Tom, you have also been blessed to have a grandson Jackson for the rest of your lives. I have been blessed with two grandsons Ty & Tate and maybe one day we will meet on a Little League Field with all of them.
There are no words to express the pain I feel for you during this tragic loss, we are both going through a parents worst nightmare. We were blessed with such wonderful sons. Embrace your other children as I do to my son Jason, they too are deeply hurting for the loss of their brother. Treasure the time we have with them, Drew & Cliff would both want that for all of us. Stay very close to the Westfield Family they too will help you through this. I understand the pain will ease (I am waiting for that time). Words can not express the love and support the Westfield family has shown Cliff's family. We are there for you also. I will keep your family in my prayers. Coach, I don't even no where to start. Although I only had you for one semester my 10th grade year, you became one of my favorite teachers. You beared with us through those tired mornings, and managed to teach the lesson with time to spare and talk. Even though you were a basketball coach you always cheered me and Rickye on at our softball games. I still remember your big smile although you are gone. I had the honor of meeting Mr. and Mrs. Eisenman, Thursday night and I can see where coach gets his warm and loving smile from. May God bless and keep your family and watch over baby Jackson.

Drew was a very, very dear friend to me at SFA. We both were RA's and AHD's at the same time. Talking to Drew always put a smile on my face. The years put distance between us, but I would run into Drew around town and it was always if no time had passed at all. Drew was the kind of guy that if I worked too late at the library I could call him and he would come and walk me back across campus, if anything was ever on my mind he always would lend a thoughtful ear, and who could forget our weekly gatherings at La Hacienda. That mischeivious, contagious smile, warmed the hearts of us all! I found out of this tragedy too late to attend services, but wanted you to know what a beautiful heart Drew had. He will remain in my thoughts, and you in my prayers.

Coach Eisenman was almost always smiling when I saw him. I parked near him and Coach Spencer each morning of my senior year. While I was closer to Coach Spencer, on most mornings, both of them would say "hi" and walk in with me. Their smiles were always a good start for a long day. Love to all his friends and family and his students at Westfield. I know He and Coach Spencer will be dearly missed. Although this tragedy is very difficult for all of us to understand, we should remain faithful in believing that God works in all things. Coach Eisenman was a loving leader for his freshman basketball team, and our son Justin is a better player and person for knowing him. Our son Winston always spoke highly of him as his World History teacher. We are so proud that our lives were touched by his giving spirit, even for such a short time. Our prayers are with your family, as we grieve together as a Westfield family. Westfield will not be the same without him. We will patiently await the time when we will see him again in Heaven.

Eisenman Family. I knew Drew from his playing volleyball at Third Coast. The fact that he, his sisters & brother made up a team and took time out of their busy lives to play together always made me smile. It is so obvious to an outsider what a wonderful family & family life the Eisenmans have. From the team name ("Nerd Family Outting") it is easy to imagine all the family trips & events you must have shared together over the years. I'm so very sorry to learn of Drew's death. Drew was a guest in my home many times duing the 1 1/2 years he dated my daughter, Traci, while thry were in college at
S.F.A.. It was always a pleasure
to have him in my home. He was gentle, polite, and well-mannered.
I must add that he treated my daughter with the epitomy of respect, gentleness, kindness, and love during their relationship.
He was a fine young man.
It was quite clear that Drew loved and respected his family VERY much.
He spoke of you very lovingly and shared many photo albums with us.

the eisenman family has my deepeset sympathy. coach we loved you and will miss you very much. you had a great postive influence on my son(craig blackmon a jr.at westfield) and i appriciated every thing you done for him. he is having a hard time with your depature as well as i and everyone else who knew you. you will never be forgotten, always mya and craig blackmon jr.
