Living next door for so many years gave us the opportunity to know MiMi. She was always happy and I know she is smiling from above as she continues to look after your family.

Greg and I loved your mother and father. Both John and Bernice loved their family and had a wonderful caring heart. Their example as parents have overflowed to their children. Edward was a great caring neighbor and so nice to my grandson. The boys always came to do yard work and Kristi was the light of her world. People like your family are hard to find. I know she is a shining star now...our sympathy!

As I was driving down Cypresswood close to the house this week I reminded myself I needed to check in with Bernice. I left the country for 2 days and decided to catch up on the newspapers tonight. I saw Bernice's obituary. It made me so sad. Knowing she had gone through many challenges throughout the years, it was still a shock. John will be happy she is coming to join him. Yall were one of the most caring, special families I have ever worked with. What a loss .......they were both wonderful role models and I know you will miss them greatly. Sincerely, "Bloom"
