I am so sorry for all of us that Bobby is gone. I remember him at the Magnolia football games in his HPD uniform, when I was in High School. Since my family were also HPD, I always respected him. I was fortunate to visit with him on rodeo committee also... will miss his smile!

I regret that Jill and I were in Green Bay, Wisconsin until the 24th, and did not know of Bobby's passing. Linda wrote me an email which I just got today. We all shared so many wonderful times with the Goodson family. We gained so many friends, and had so much fun together as the kids grew up..all because of your generosity and kindness to us all. Brian, Jill, Scott and I are so sorry to know you have lost a beloved husband, father and grandfather. I hope happy memories make the days ahead easier for you. Madeline Murphy and children

I have heard a saying that fits the passing of Bobby perfect - People come into our lives and leave foot steps on our heart - this is true with Bobby. My husband and I have know him for many years and thankful for the opoortunity. He was so wonderful with Danny when he was ill, I will never forget him. Johnny may God be with you during this very sad time, I will be thinking and praying for you and your family.

Bobby was an awesome gentleman. I remember his photo hanging in Goodson's Cafe in Hufsmith. He was a handsome young policeman and was in his HPD uniform. Later my son had the pleasure of having "COACH GOODSON" for his Redcat football coach. He was always so patient and helped start the process of turning young boys into fine teenagers and later into great men. And after that I had the pleasure of seeing him hard at work volunteering at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo for many years. I am sure everyone had their own stories and memories. In my family, memories of Bobby were all good.

I had the pleasure of knowing Bobby both at HPD and as a Redcat coach. He coached both my sons at different times. He was a great influence on untold numbers of boys in Tomball, and I must admit was a positive influence on me, too. My sons and I were saddened by the news of his illness, but now find comfort that as he is at rest.

Rembering to good ol' time in the HPD days. Glad I had the oppertunity to have Bobby walk through my life. My prayers are with the family for their loss. The last time I saw Bobby was at Hobby Lobby in Tomball. He was looking for an eagle to put on his fireplace. I was with Evelyn and Kay, at the time. He will be remembered as a loving father and grandfather. Asking God for comfort to the family.

Dear Mrs. Goodson, Karen, and Randy,

We were sad to hear about Coach Goodson, but we are happy that he is in Heaven looking down on all of us. What a wonderful and caring man. We will never forget all of the Days of the Tomball Redcats. Coach Goodson was good to all of the boys that played for him and he always made them strive to be the best that they could be. We all loved and appreciated every thing that he did to make them productive citizens. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. We will miss him.

Those we love don't go away, they walk besides us everyday, unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed and very dear. God has called another of his angels home. May God hold you in his hands and his angels keep watch over your family

As the daughter of a police officer, I was blessed with knowing Bobby since I was a little girl. He was always charming, funny and a great friend to my dad, Danny Pugh and many others. I will cherish the many memories I have with him ~ from fishing at San Luis Pass to dancing the two-step at the clubs. You are missed my sweet Bobby, but I know you are at peace and sharing stories with our good friend Danny. Save a dance for me in heaven. (Sgt. Joe Scott's daughter)

We are truly saddened by the news of Bobby's passing. Bobby was a good friend, a "partner in fun" and just a neat guy. Some of the best times on the Horspitality Committee at Rodeo were the ones spent with Bobby as chaiman.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Goodsen family during this time.
