Thinking of you always, Brian...I just read your obituary and saw you wanted to teach in international schools, and were interested in religion & culture (I remember teaching some of that to you, and you to me, in SS9 in Prague :-))...I/we wish you peace and love, and the same to those who you have left behind

Brian, the emptiness that you have left us with is eclipsed by the warmth that you bestowed upon those around you in your lifetime. In the short time that you were with us, you gave more to others than some do in a lifetime. I love you, baby cousin. You will be missed. Until we meet again...

Brian and I met when we were at the lowest points two people could be in. We brought each other out of it. He was a beacon of light. He would come over and hang out and we would talk about everything and nothing. He used to say we were kindred spirits. He told me how beautiful and special I was, because of him, I learned to love myself. I always used to tell him he could quiet a room. He had that effect. He could make you listen with his kind words and his loving soul. Our connection was deep and meaningful. Not superficial. He used to say that. We would have these deep conversations about religion and soul mates and love. Then of course, there was the smiling, laughing Brian who was so silly. God, I can still hear your laugh. It was infectious. I love you Brian. I know you didn't leave us, you just went home.
