Brian Rhone Obituary

BRIAN ELLIS RHONE, Houston Firefighter and loving father of daughter Hunter, died tragically in a motorcycle accident on Memorial Day, May 25, 2009. Brian was born on February 8, 1962 in Houston and graduated from Tomball High School in 1980. Brian's main focus and primary consideration was his daughter, "Daddy's Little Girl". A firefighter for 13 years and an avid outdoorsman, Brian loved dove hunting and working on the family farm in Crockett. He is survived by his mother Betty Rhone, daughter Hunter and her mother Theresa Rhone Spell, sisters Rhonda Ortmayer (Dave) and Donna Ritter (Chris), niece Brooke Nichols, nephew Patrick Nichols, aunts Patsy Rhone and Gay Simi, uncle Joe Rhone, several cousins, a host of friends, his firefighter family, and the Crews family and friends of Energy Quest. I was glad to finally meet back up with you (Brian) after years of growing up together during our grade school and High school years ... Once a friend always a friend ... I enjoyed having you on the rides ... you always had a smile and were willing to help ... I will miss you dearly ... Oh and by the way ... I understand they have these golden 3 wheel chariots in Heaven w/H.D. (Heavenly Designed) they are equipped with a plunger which ignites the nitro and shoots you across the sky like a shooting star ... I suppose when we see a shooting star that will be you hitting the plunger of nitro! I pray God will comfort your daughter Hunter, mom, sisters Donna & Rhonda and all your family and friends .. I will miss you more than you'll ever know. Ride in peace my friend!

Brian seemed to always be willing to help out a fellow rider.
