On Monday January 31, 2022, Heaven's trumpets sounded to welcome home God's servant, Rev. Dr. Calvin Jonathan Abraham. He was the shepherd of Bella Vista Missionary Baptist Church for 43 years. Jeremiah 3:15 states "And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding". Pastor Abraham exemplified these words throughout his ministry.
Rev. Dr. Abraham will Lie in State on Friday, 2/11/2022 starting at 1:00 p.m. until 6:45p.m. with Church and Community Memorial, service starting @7:00 p.m. Homegoing celebration will be Saturday, 2/12/2022@ 12:00 Noon. All services will be held at Bella Vista Missionary Baptist Church, 803 E. 36th St., Houston, TX 77022, Jacari P. Davis, Pastor. Both services will be livestreamed via Facebook and YouTube (Bella Vista MBC). Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Pruitt's In the Heights. 713-864-2609.
