Carl Schultz Obituary

CARL T. SCHULTZ, JR., age 90, passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2009. He was born in San Antonio to Carl T. Schultz, Sr. and Anna Caroline Govier. He is preceded in death by his wife Mary Ratliff Schultz and grandson, John Reynolds (Jack) Schultz. He is survived by his son, Carl T. (Ted) Schultz, III, Ted's wife, Deborah McCally Schultz, and his grandchildren Carl T. (Pat) Schultz IV, his wife, Ashley Taylor Schultz, and Sarah McCormick Schultz. Carl attended Rice Institute on the G.I. Bill after serving in WW II, landing on D-Day + 3 and fighting in the Battle of the Bulge. He was employed for 35 years with Dun & Bradstreet, serving in Mexico, D.F. as president of Dun & Bradstreet de Mexico, S.A. in the late fifties and early sixties. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather, cherished by his many friends and family members. Graveside service will be held at 9 a.m., Saturday, June 27 at Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas 77079. Family to receive friends at his home following the graveside service.
