Liebe Key, lieber Uwe, die Nachricht vom Tod Eures Sohnes Christopher hat uns sehr erschüttert. Schade, dass wir beim letzten Klassentreffen nicht dabei sein und Euch treffen konnten. Wir denken viel an Euch und bitten im Gebet um viel Kraft und Trost für Euch.

How heavy are our hearts at the news of Chris' loss. There are no words to even express how we feel and just want you to know how sorry we are that this happened. We praise God in knowing Chris is, indeed, at Home, with the Father, and with many others we know we will see someday. As long-time friends of Chris' maternal grandparents, Anne and Bill Gresham, please know you will remain in our prayers with the hope that God's comfort will cover each of you during the hard days ahead.

I talked to Chris often when he worked at Maui Wowie. He was a great young man and the world on earth will be a lesser place without him. Chris and I even talked about he and my son Drew possibly doing some traveling in Europe together. In the end, Chris was the type of young man who we oldsters could rely on to help save the earth from our human greed and lack of compassion. He will be sorely missed everywhere. Our sincere condolences to Key and Uwe Blab.

Key, we have never met, but I feel blessed to have come to know your parents and brother Carter during their visits to Georgia in recent years. I know that apples typically don't fall far from the tree, and because of that your loss has meaning to me. Please accept my heartfelt condolences.

Uwe-Key, I have no words to say to you about this, all I can say is my heat is sad and I have wonderful memories of Christopher as a boy. I always like the fact that Uwe would talk to his kids in german when they would call the office. It has been years but I think I am a better person to have known the Blab family..

Our beautiful active niece is a 23-year old heart transplant recipient, thanks to someone with generosity like yours. Please know that we are forever grateful for people sharing the gift of life.

My thoughts are with the Blab family as they struggle through this tragedy. I met Christopher this past summer in London and was impressed by his calm confidence, intelligence and pleasant demeanor. Our brief meeting has had a lasting effect. He will be missed.
