Chris was the first child with OI we met after our son Rusty Bench who also has OI was born in 1970 . Dr Geroge Lane helped us get in touch with the Hagan Family. We lived far across Houston from the Hagan family. But once we met, Chris and my son became very close friends. Chris came to spend a few days with us often he enjoyed swimming in our pool and having pretended campout in Rustys' room with a tent and all. One time I called Chris to ask him if it would be ok for Rusty's grandmother to come to pick him up and bring him to our house this time. Chris thought about it and said well she is the grandmother to one of us ( OI kids) so I think it will ok. Chris was a joy to have a visit and he seemed to enjoy coming to our house. Rusty Bench is now 50 years old. we live in the Tomball area. I send our condolences to the Hagan family. Chris will always be a wonderful memory in our hearts.

the greatest person on earth, he may have had a small body but he had a great big heart that GOD could ever give anyone. his laughs and smiles could even out shine a rainbow. he loved to be bossy here on earth so i wonder who is winning tug-a-war in heaven?
