Christopher Wilson Obituary

Christopher Wilson
10/28/1955 - 09/06/2022
Christopher Randolph Wilson, age 66, of Houston, Texas, died unexpectedly on Tuesday morning 9/6/2022. Born October 28, 1955, in Wichita Falls, TX he was the son of Gloria (Bailey) Wilson and the late James W. Wilson. Chris grew up in Pasadena, TX graduating from Sam Rayburn High School. He later went on to graduate from nursing school at UTMB- Galveston and was a respected RN in the Houston area for many years.

Chris will be most remembered for his witty (and very often, offbeat) sense of humor and ability to tell a great story. He was an authority on many diverse subjects and was an avid reader, film buff, photographer, and painter who greatly enjoyed all forms of art. He was also a patron of the Houston Ballet and a lifelong Houston Astros fan. He is greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Chris is preceded in death by his brothers, Bob, Jim, and John. He is lovingly survived by his mom, Gloria Wilson; his son Robert Wilson; 2 grandchildren, Cameron Wilson and Emma Wilson and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the Houston Ballet (houstonballet.org) or Museum of Fine Arts Houston (mfah.org)
