COJOHN PARAMORE Obituary
October 21, 1972 Houston, TXMarch 15, 2010 Ft. Collins, COJOHN MICHAEL PARAMORE who has joined his father Larry Wayne Paramore, his grandparents; Wilson Monroe and Hilda Annette (Vernon) Midyett, Julius Benjamin and Anna Marie (Walters) Paramore.John graduated from Bellaire High School in Houston and attended Tarleton State University inStephenville, Texas. He marriedAllison Floyd on June 29, 1996 in San Antonio, Texas. After leaving Texas they resided in California,Arizona, and most recently in Ft. Collins, Colorado. John was a long, tall Texan with a sarcastic sense of humor that often left others absolutely speechless, and a smile that would light up a room. He enjoyed his cars and his guncollection. John was a kind and thoughtful man, the only one able to feed a dying cat, or allow a spooked deer to join him on his bicycle. But, heaven help the friend or family member that tried to touch hisfavorite cooking pots and famous iron skillet. John acknowledged that he was an extraordinary cook (not a chef!). Nothing made John happier than cooking for family and friends at his home, the farm, or at Burning Man. We will miss his brisket, barbecue, duck, truffles and gourmet meals of every genre. He wrestled with his garden every year to ensure enough hot peppers, tomatoes, and squash to make his special salsas. He enjoyed traveling to England, France, Belize, New York City, New Orleans, Las Vegas, San Francisco, and his favorite, Burning Man,Nevada, (where he became a rare personality). He never liked being the center of attention, but nonetheless had a magnetic personality that drew in those around him. John was fiercely loyal to those he loved, the quality for which he will be mostremembered. John's life was less than easy, but in spite of it he would do anything at any sacrifice for those close to him. John loved the Midyett family farm in Montgomery County where his ashes are now scattered, his mountaintop, the outdoors, bicycling and above all, Allison. John is survived by his wifeAllison Floyd of Ft.
