Noreen and I are so sorry for your loss of Collin, especially at such a young age. We read the Obituary and saw the beautiful video of his life showing what a full and loving life he had -- what a great son you were blessed with.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Looking through all the pictures of Collin and your family reminds us of all the early years raising our children in The Woodlands. The sports, school events, where we all knew everyone attending, cheerleading with Courtney and our daughter Lindsay. Words are hard to express our sadness for you both. Obviously from all of the wonderful pictures and tributes to Collin - he was an amazing young man!

Becky and Mike,
May these words written by Edgar Guest "To All Parents" help you through this heart-breaking time. God has welcomed Collin home.
"I'll lend you for a while a child of mine," He said.
"For you to love the while he lives and mourn for when he's dead.
It may be six or seven years, or twenty-two or three,
But will you, till I call him back, take care of him for me?
He'll bring his charms to gladden you, and should his stay be brief,
You'll have his lovely memories as solace for your grief."
"I cannot promise he will stay; since all from earth return,
But there are lessons taught down there I want this child to learn.
I've looked the wide world over in My search for teachers true
And from the throngs that crowd life's lanes I have chosen you.
Now will you give him all your love, not think the labor vain,
Nor hate Me when I come to call to take him back again?"
"I fancied that I heard them say, "Dear Lord, Thy will be done!
For all the joy Thy child shall bring, the risk of grief we run.
We'll shelter him with tenderness, we'll love him while we may,
And for the happiness we've known, forever grateful stay;
But should the angels call for him much sooner than we've planned,
We'll brave the bitter grief that comes and try to understand!"
God's grace be with you.

Mike, over the last few months we have been sharing a golf cart together and I feel like we are old friends. The stories we shared together have been both informative and amusing. Even though I never met your son it's obvious he came from the Campbell's athleticism tree, triathlon takes a real strong athlete. My heart goes out to you and your family, if there is anything I could possibly do to help in anyway please feel free to call me anytime and may God be with you and your family during this difficult period. I lost a son in an airplane crash and I know how much it hurts to lose someone you love, we all need to support and love each other for all these reasons and more, your golf cart buddy, Bob Brenner

Mike and Becky, I would like to offer my condolences to you and your family. I do not know you personally Mike but , I feel I do because I too played for the Longhorns. In fact, your dad recruited me in 1959. Like all the coaches during this period, he was well respected by all of the players. My prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time, and I pray God will bless you in the weeks ahead. Class of 1962! Thomas Phillips

Dear Mike, Becky and Campbell family,
I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I didn't know Collin but if he was anything like his father, mother, uncles and grandparents he was a fine young man. I'm reminded of something my late grandmother said when her father passed away. She said "His feet weren't cold before he was in Heaven." I'd like to think the same about Collin.
