I met Denny at Jersey Meadows Golf Course several years ago where he was working the front desk. From the beginning he was polite, courteous and happy to see you. This attitude is lacking in most public golf courses.
Denny and I were friends from the beginning. I know God sends people to minister to others --Denny was such a person.
When it is all said and done, if you can say "He was a good man", that covers it all.
From my view point Denny was that. Thank you Denny for being a good man.

I will miss Denny even though we didn't see each other very often. Growing up we were very close. My deepest sympathy to Nancy, Betty, Johnny and Kandy and other family. Sincerely, Cousin Penny Martin and family.

Denny, thanks for the laughs and good humor. I never laughed so hard, as when you came up with the "Sweet Jesus, where did that pole come from?" line. I still use it and secretly laugh with you about it. For 6 AM talks in the parking lot, we got some good chuckles and made fun of a lot of people. That is what life is about. Thanks for the memories as well as the hard work and dedication to the job while you were with us. Your family and friends will miss you until we see you on the other side.

Denny was a fun loving and gentle person. He always had a smile on his face when we saw him. You could see the joy he had in his life, and by his side. Nancy, God will see you through this with all of your memories and your love for Denny. He lives on in your heart and ours. If you need anything, anytime you call us. He he smiling down on us all.

Denny will be greately missed by many of his favorite fans at Jersey Meadow Golf Course-myself among them. His warm spirit toward his fellow man and passion for the game of golf drew many into his life. He left a little of himself with those he met as he shared a golf tip, or by simply sharing the many blessings he experienced in life. As a member of the Jersey Meadow Ladies Golf Association, we will miss his smiling face on Monday mornings.
