She was the most awesome person and woman to ever touched my life. She saw me grow up from a little kid to a young adult. The last time i spoke to her i wished i would of told her how much i wanted to thank her for everything she gave to me. She brought happiness to a young kid she never even knew and even took me out in her nice Lincoln car. i can still remember her scolding me about some things but she could never really get mad at me. i could stay here and write forever about her but i feel there will not be enough space to express the kind of woman she was and still is in my heart.

Thanks DEE DEE!

Love always your Luis

Such a beautiful woman! I still want to call you and tell you about what's going on in my world. You are missed so much it almost doesn't seem real that you are not here. Your number keeps popping up in my head and I want to dial it so bad! 281-635-6534......don't think I'll ever forget it. I have it memorized just as I have you memorized! Your smile, your voice, your gentle touch. I miss you nanaw and I know these words don't mean much right now, but I know I will see you again waiting for me next to the pearly white gates of heaven. I wish you could have known my boys more, I know you would have enjoyed them. Andrew is my smart mouth just like the rest of the davis's, mathew is so smart and loves to smile and his smile reminds me of yours, and Joshua well he is advancing to fast by already standing up and trying to let go. But anyways this is the only way I can communicate with you right now so I just wanted you to know that although there has not been a post from anyone in a while, you are still in our hearts and that you were and stilled are loved so very much! Love your dolly!

It is never easy to lose a loved one in death. I pray you find comfort in God's promise found at John 6:40, which says that soon we will see all our loved ones again.

I miss you nanaw! I think about you everyday and all that we did together! I will never forget going to luby's cafeteria with you or going to the pyramids to watch the imax. You were and still are so very special to me and I cant stand it that I didn't make it to Texas to see you more! But I know you and I know you loved me no matter what. I am so blessed to have had such an amazing grandmother like you! I wish you were still here with us. Aunt Sherry did an amazing job at writing this for you and I don't feel that she left out anything. I cannot wait until the day comes that we will meet again. I know you are in heaven living a peaceful life now and watching over us like the angel you have always been! I LOVE YOU LADY! FOREVER AND ALWAYS!!!

I was so very sad to hear of the passing of DEE DEE, if it was not for her, I do not know where Clint and I would have ended up. She took my son in as a small toddler and help raise him. She saw his first step, heard his first word. They bought him Christmas presents every year, clothes, toys you name it. He was one of the "Davis" kids in everyway.I could not give him the things that her and Daddy Jess did. I can remember Clint going to work with Daddy Jess and Larry and Painting when he was so little. I can remember Dee Dee just hugging him so tight, I can remember him crying when he had to leave their house and come home. Dee Dee was truly Clint's mom in everyway that I am. All of the Davis kids were and still are his brother and sisters. She was so very loved by so many and helped so many people. I know her place in Heaven will be magnificent. I am so sorry we lost contact after so many years, but I know in mu heart she knows how much Clint and I loved her and thank her for all she gave us. We are who we are today because of this wonderful woman, mother, grandmother and friend.

There are so many great things I could say about my grandmother I don't even know where to start. She was the greatest person I ever known there's not a time where I went without nice school clothes or other necessities because she was the type you could call on and she would be there!! Yes she sometimes gave us hell but it's only because she wanted us all to be the best people we could be... I love u Nanaw and hope to one day be the woman you are!!! RIP sweet lady you deserve it!!

Sherry I will never forget your Mom with her red hair and her laughter she reminded me of Lucy Ricardo! She was always lively and an adventure! She would do the craziest things sometimes like flirt with young nice looking men. Ha! Your Mom allowed us to go places and do things I never would have been able to do. So much fun. I am so happy I got to live next door. I'll never forget her she was one of a kind! Love, Sally

Writing this obituary was so hard, yet I wanted to honor this lovely woman that was my Mom. I know all of Heaven is cleaner and greener with you there. Save me a place right next to you. Love you so much. Sherry

She was the greatest grandma anyone could ever have. She taught me how to live and to put others before myself. I love her so much. I am very blessed to have had her in my life as long as I did. She and I would watch John Wayne movies together. She was always there for me when I needed her and I miss her very much. I know she is in heaven with Jesus and I know I will see her again someday. She was the person who I could tell anything to and she would understand. She would make me chicken noddle soup and grilled cheese for lunch when I got home form school. I love you NANAW. You are in my heart forever.

This is the most amazing woman I have ever known! She is my grandmother and was my rock and I love her! Had it not been for her as a child I would have not turned into to be the woman I am today. I can remember as a child she would always take us to new places and let us experience new things. She was the type of grandmother that would do anything for her children or her grandchildren. She may have given us grief about it sometimes, but hey, what are grandmothers for. She showed me how to live and how a person should live and for that I am so very grateful! I LOVE YOU NANAW!!! GONE BUT NEVER GONNA BE FORGOTTEN! YOU WERE THE MOST SELFLESS PERSON IN THE WORLD AND I LOVE YOU SO MUCH....LOVE ALWAYS YOUR "DOLLY" MONICA ALLAN!
