Mrs. Evans,
My heart breaks knowing how much you will miss him. All I can think of is his smile and the big hug he always had for me. Thanks to the both of you are not nearly enough for the staple you have been in my life. I am so blessed to have had him in my life and thankful that to the opportunities he gave me. I know that he and Dad are having a great time catching up and I am sure St. Peter can now take a break.
All my love to you!

Dearest Mildred,
I have nothing but fond and happy memories of your husband and soul mate, Emmett. If ever there was a match made in heaven it was between you two. I am so sorry for your loss, but I am so happy I had the honor of working at Mosher Steel with you all and of all the happy memories and friendships we made there. God bless you and keep you held tightly during the following days after his passing.

Miss Mildred,

I know your heart is heavy right now, but Mr. Emmett is in the arms of the angels. May God hold you in His arms until you are reunited in eternity.

Emmett was always kind and had a good word to say about everyone who knew him.

Here is to the memory of the deer hunter, the rodeo man, the man of integrity, the awesome friend, the good neighbor, the fabulous Father, the loving husband, the Texan, and the great American.

Love you always,
Candy Cogan

The Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo just won't be the same without Emmett. I've known him since I was a little kid through my father. He's been a staple for the Rodeo and he will be greatly missed by all.

Our prayers are with you today as you mourn the loss of this great man. May God comfort you through this time.
