Francis Meddleton Obituary

Francis Charles
Meddleton left this world and entered the Kingdom of God on Sunday, January 12, 2014. Francis was born in Johnson city, New York on November 17, 1942 to Willet J. Meddleton and Julia C. Meddleton.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Linda A. Meddleton, his parents and his brothers Philip, Robert, David and Daniel Meddleton.
Francis is survived by his children Dennis K. Meddleton and Laura M. Ouin and his 3 grandchildren, Andrew, Christopher and Brianna.
He enjoyed music, spending time in Magnolia and Houston, TX and was a dedicated teacher and educator in the public and collegiate school systems. Prior to his over 25 year teaching career, he served honorably in the United States Navy and received the National Defense Service Medal. He enjoyed a life filled with travel though America but called Texas "home" for the last 30 years. He will be missed by all.
Visitation will be at San Jacinto Funeral Chapel 14659 East Freeway, Houston Texas, Friday, January 17th, 2014 from 4pm - 8pm. Graveside service will be Saturday, January 18th, 2014 at 2pm at Cathedral in the Pines located at 7825 South Broadway, Tyler, Tx 75703 where he will be laid to rest next to his wife Linda.
