Remember she is just a prayer away. Her spirit will live forever. My sincere and heartfelt prayers go out to my former classmate Roland, and to the entire family and friends. May the love she gave keep you strong now and always.

I shared some happy times with Genevieve. My favorite memory was sitting at her dining room table with her family, her sister-in-law Barbara and my mother at an otherwise sad occasion after her husband and my cousin Roland's funeral and laughing so hard at her, Barbara and my mother's stories about being part of the Rousseve and Arceneaux families. I also loved sharing evenings with her, Roland, Mary and Laura when David and his dance troupe would perform at Brooklyn Academy of Music.
This year my son Jonathan and I saw David, Laura and Candy when David's troupe did a wonderful show at BAM around Billy Strayhorn's life. As always we talked about Genevieve and were sorry she could only be there in spirit. She'll remain in our hearts.
