My Dear, Dear Geoffrey,
Time has passed, 7 years, and I still can't bring myself to accept that you are gone. Thoughts and memories race through my mind as if they were just happening. I pray you know how much I loved you on earth and continue to love you in heaven. You will be my baby boy forever.
Love and Hugs,
Mom
Thank you Lord for all the memories that comfort me!

To Gary and Diane,

My mother, Barbara, and I would like to express our very deepest sympathies to you and your family. We only recently learned of the loss of both your boys and we were terribly saddened to hear the news. We remember your family very clearly and we were so shocked to learn of this double tragedy. I cannot even begin to imagine the pain you all must have gone through but please do know there are many people out there who care about you and who think of you. We pray that the days ahead will bring peace and healing to your lives while at the same time you hang on to the cherished and happy memories you have of your boys. It seems they both grew up to be such fine young men, you must have been duly proud of them, and it is so hard to understand why such a sad and horrible tragedy would befall your family. We are thinking of you, however, and praying for you.

My Dear, Dear Son,

I sit here with tears rolling down my cheeks as I think back to 3 years ago. You were so happy when you left to go be with some friends and little did I know I would never see you again. It is such a terrible pain that just will not heal. I miss you so much!

I hope you know how much I love you.

Hugs and Kisses,

Mom

Geoff and I were good friends all throughout high school. I don't understand why bad things happen to such good people, but I know that that is something that nobody can explain. He was such a wonderful person. His passing is a great loss to all of us and he will be missed very much. We'll always love & remember you, Geoff! I send my deepest sympathy and thoughts to the family & friends of Geoff.

Dearest Diane & Family, I can't imagine the pain you must be experiencing. Words are so hard to express at this time. I just rely on the mercy and grace of Jesus to know that he will give all of you the strength to face each new day. One of my favorite scriptures is in Philippians 4:13...I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me. You have beautiful memories to hold on to and the hand of Jesus. You will continue to be in my prayers. Love, J.R.

We noticed that our message of yesterday did not appear here, so I am rewriting it today. We are very sorry about Geoffrey. Both of us recalled immediately his sitting down and playing beautiful music wherever there were people and he could find a piano. When I have been so saddened by something happening and could not find words that seem adequate, I turn to Psalm 121, "My eyes look to the hills, from where does my help come? My help comes from the Lord who made heaven and earth..." You are in our prayers and we are grateful for the promise of God's grace and love in Christ our Lord.
