Greenland - Isabel M. Bourrillion

GREENLAND - ISABEL M. BOURRILLION 65, of 280 Bayside Road and formerly of Houston, Texas, died Friday, Aug. 26, 2005, at Portsmouth Hospital due to complications of diabetes. Isabel was born Jan. 18, 1940, in Philadelphia, the daughter of the late Felipe S. and Marie J (Galligan) Argel. She graduated from Hallahan High School for Girls, Class of 1957, in Philadelphia. She was married to the late Alan Wayne Bourrillion in October of 1958. Survivors include her brother, Robert M. Argel of Greenland; seven children, Roberta A. Pull and husband Jeff of Eagle River, Ark., Nancy J. Bagley and husband Kelley of Houston, Texas, Felecia G. Bourrillion of Eagle River, Ak., Sandra M. Bourrillion of Greenland, Christopher T. Bourrillion and wife Carol of Bossier City, La., Nicole B. Polleck of Houston, Texas, and Alyssa W. Washam and husband James of Schweinfurt, Germany; 16 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and longtime family friend, Robert L. Sutherland Jr. WE REMEMBER: In all the trials and turmoils with diabetes, we remember her extraordinary courage, her daunting strength; her faith in God; her caring and generous nature for her fellow man; her loving and beautiful smile - and above all this - being a wonderful and nurturing mom. SERVICES: Visiting hours will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. on Tuesday at the J. Verne Wood Funeral Home-Buckminster Chapel, 84 Broad St., Portsmouth, with a funeral service following visitation at 5 p.m. Friends invited, and flowers will be accepted. She will be interned at Forest Park East, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, on September 10, 2005 at 3 p.m. Special thanks are extended to all of the Portsmouth Regional Hospital nursing staff, the Wound Care Center staff, Whittier Rehabilitation Center, all her affiliated specialist doctors, and especially Dr. Marni Nicholas, Isabel's primary care physician.
