James Gregory "Greg" Thomas, 64, of Houston, Texas, passed away on March 17, 2024. He was born on February 2, 1960, in Dallas, Texas.
Greg was a dedicated professional in the Granite and Tile industry for 33 years. His expertise and hard work left a lasting impact on his colleagues and the industry as a whole.
He is survived by his loving wife, Leslie Thomas; daughters Sunnie Foster and Reise Thomas; son, Jake Thomas; brother, Mark Aston; grandchildren Griffin & Willow Foster. Greg was preceded in death by his mother, Cindy Bailey; sister, Lucinda Thomas; and grandson, Emmett Foster.
Greg was known for his infectious laughter and his ability to bring joy to everyone around him. His kind and respectful nature endeared him to all who had the pleasure of meeting him. His unmatched sense of humor, captivating storytelling, and profound love for music will be dearly missed.
A service to celebrate Greg's life will be held at The Midway Church of Christ in Hitchcock, TX at 2pm on April 27th.
While we bear the pain of this great loss, we find comfort in knowing that he is at peace. We were truly blessed to know and to love him.

A beautiful, heart-felt tribute to and celebration of a very special person today. Greg was truly one of a kind with a heart of gold. My thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time... He left a beautiful legacy here on earth.

met Greg a short time ago when he came down with the Als and knew of him based upon all the great things he did with Rumford Stone and as I was at his house fixing it up it was a pleasure hanging out with him and his family, his wife and kids are fantastic and I understand why he will be missed but the short time he made an impact on my life and I´m so glad that I had a chance to spend time with him. Pray prayers are with you always thinking of you.
