Herbert Shilson Obituary
Herbert M. Shilson Herbert M. Shilson, 95, of The Woodlands, TX passed away December 27, 2010. He was born July 30, 1915 in Detroit, MI to the late Herbert Shilson and Lilian Jane Titmus Shilson. He is also preceded in death by his wife Ethelwyn Shilson; son Richard Shilson; grandson James Shilson and brother Clive Shilson. Herbert is survived by his son Kenneth Shilson and wife Kathleen; daughter-in-law Karren Shilson; grandchildren Keith and Kristin Shilson, David Shilson and wife Jana; great grandsons Jacob and Richard Shilson and a special friend and caregiver Frances Wheatfall.
Herbert graduated from Walsh College in Detroit, MI. He was Chief Financial Officer of Cross and Trecker Machine Tools in Fraser, MI and member of the Financial Executives Institute.
A celebration of Herbert's life is set for 11:00 A.M., Monday, January 3, 2011 in the Chapel at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home, 18000 I-45 South, The Woodlands, TX 77384.

I had not known Mr Shilson long, however I found to be a man of integrity, kind, and of a commanding Spirit. He was always the gentleman, it was refreshing to see that chivarly continues in this day and age. I learned to love Mr Shilson very much and he will indeed be missed. I hope that you find comfort in knowing that he has rest from all his labours. He has left precious memories and examples to cherish and practice in our hearts. I pray that the family be console in all his endeavours and Love. Blessings
