It has been six years since my dad’s passing. I miss him so. He was my father and mentor for my life and my career and for my passion of the floral industry. By his example, he led me to understand what is most important.
His life and love was for much more than the exquisite flowers God created for our pleasure and use on this earth. He was was awed by and shared that beauty. However, my father knew it was about the importance of people and the lives of those he was allowed to assist and to share his gift.
He was a humble man that loved life, his family and trusted God above all. He was all about having fun no matter what you are doing or where you are. He believed it important to listen, hearing what was said. He would look to find the beauty in all.
I am thankful for him being who he was, all that he shared and taught me and mostly for his faith in the Lord above all.
I love you dad and sure do miss ya!

Howard was such a joy to work with . His sense of humor and fun out look on life made it so full of spice. He will dearly be missed and he is in heaven designing flowers for the queen right now.

I am so sorry I am just learning that Howard has passed away. I would have loved honoring him at his Memorial Service. His remarkable floral arrangements at my daughter Casey's wedding in 2012 were the talk of the night. His gift was not just with flowers but with people. He will not be forgotten. He was an amazing man.
My sympathies to his family, to Jenny and all who loved him.

I knew Howard from way back. We were neighbors as small children. He was so good with flowers in later years, and did the flowers at my wedding. His family will always have a place in my heart. God has gained an angel.

It was a great pleasure working with Howard, a very talented and passionate man. He was an inspiration to all that knew him. My thoughts and prayers are with LaDonna and the family- A happy person is not a person in a certain set of circumstances, but rather a person with a certain set of attitudes. Howard will be missed greatly by his HEB family.

To my friend Howard's family: Howard was the nicest most sincere man. He loved life and flowers! He always had a story to tell. And I enjoyed hearing them all! He was my mentor at The River Oaks Plant House. From my first day of employment eight years ago, he was the first to greet me and make me feel comfortable. He took me under his wing with my desire to learn all about flowers and design. I learned so much from Howard. I will miss him greatly.
