Isabel came to bring my mom communion every week while my mom was dying of cancer. Heaven is little better now that she is there.

She was a very nice lady who attended Community Meetings. One of her groups she founded helped found a small school in the FMSD (Franklin-McKinely School District). I hear she was a part of the community meeting of the annual MGPTFs (Mayor's Gang Prevention Task Force) too, which has resource tables after a meeting to hear from BEST practices.

Rev. 14:13 Happy are those who die in the Lord! Happy indeed the Spirit says; now they can rest forever after their work, since their good deeds go with them.

Mrs. Nannini will be remembered as a kind, giving and gracious person who found positive things in all of life. She was a great wife, loving mother, giving grandmother and friend to many professional and personal friends. She will be missed but not forgotten.

So sorry to hear about Isobel's passing. Isobel (and John) Nannini had spent many years as gracious hosts of Japanese exchange students. Their generous hospitality will be long remembered.
Would like to quote a remembrance called "A Thousand Winds", sometimes sung at memorials in Japan...
"Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep,
I am the Thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints in snow,
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
As you awake with morning's hush
I am the swift-upflinging rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight.
Donot stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there,
I did not die"
with much love and thanks to your family.
