Mrs. Britt and family of Mr. Britt:

Our deepest sympathies go to you all. This is just so sad. However, we hope that it will give you some comfort and peace knowing that your loving husband, father, grandfather, friend, son, and brother is resting in a place where there exists nothing but euphoria, happiness and joy. My parents and the Britts have been friends for years. I cannot remember a time when I was not around the Britts when I was little. In fact, the last time I saw Mr. and Mrs. Britt was at my wedding to David, March 4, 2000. May your precious memories always live on in your hearts and always remember that he is watching over you from Heaven.

I worked with Jim at McDermott and saw him early this year at Mustang Engineering. He helped me out a great deal early in my career when we went to the fabrication yard or to offshore oil platforms together. He always had a smile on his face and a positive attitude. I will miss Jim and his warm personality.

My deepest sympathies to Linda and the entire family. I worked with Jim for many years at McDermott and learned a lot from him. He was always helpful and considerate of others, and a real gentleman.
