1946-2018
Joann Looney Gray of Spring, Texas passed away on Monday March 19, 2018 at the age of 71. Joann was born December 16, 1946 in Houston, Texas to her parents William and Ruth Looney.
Joann worked many careers but retired from Verde Environmental after 20 years. She was a devoted member at Northwest Baptist Church where she started attending as a little girl. Joann was an animal lover but especially loved her dog Brandy. She was known to love to read and listen to books on CD. Joann also enjoyed going to the movies and shopping with her sister Pamela. Some of her favorite movies were John Wayne and Elvis' movies.
Joann is survived by her son, Brian Scott Kliem; her brother, Garry Looney, sisters Pamela Hext and Barbara Klesel, her brother-in-law Jim Klesel, and her nephews Casey Klesel and Jason Klesel.
Joann was preceded in death by her parents, William Looney and Phyllis Ruth Looney.
Visitation will be on Thursday, March 22, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Pat H. Foley and Company, 1200 West 34th St. Houston, Texas 77018. Funeral service will be Friday, March 23, 2018 at 10:00 am at Northwest Baptist Church 1710 West 34th St. Houston, Texas 77018. Burial will be on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at 2:00 pm at South Park Cemetery, 1310 North Main Street Pearland, Texas 77581.
