What a tremendous loss for us all! I extend my sincere condolences to Alma and the family in their time of sorrow. Not only was Joe a loving family man, a great role model, and a successful restaurateur, but he also cared deeply about the community from which he came. Joe supported our political and civic leaders and organizations so that they could advocate for issues that he believed to be important to our community. It is never easy to accept the loss of someone we care about. In fact, Joe was still mourning the untimely loss of his own son Joe III, whom he loved and missed deeply. So while I am saddened by Joes death, I take some consolation in knowing that he has become reunited with his son in a place high above from where he can watch over Alma and his family. Joes memory will live on in all of us. With heartfelt sympathy,
Joe and Sara McCallister

It is with deep sorrow that we give our condolences and prayers to the family. Mr. Joe was always generous to the mission of SOAR Community Services. As customers at his restaurants, he always made sure to come to our table to say hello! He was so proud of his family, friends, and community! We will surely miss him!! We pray that the loving arms of our Heavenly Father embrace you, His Holy Spirit comfort you & our Lord Jesus cover you in His precious blood. In Jesus Name Amen
