Our sincere condolences to your family, it is a most difficult parting. Your family is in our thoughts knowing you miss her, but joyful that for her it is to be present with the Lord. "But it is written: "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him." 1 Corinthians 2:8-10

June was one of a kind. She was gracious
and loving to me because of being the
the eldest brother to Sandy, Karen's
husband. Loren, my brother's son, told
me about the passing of June. She will
be truly missedby all who knew her.

I was raised in Church of The Redeemer on Dallas St, which was one of the first churches your parents built. I remember both your parents at church every Sunday. Mrs Tellepsen would take her pew near the front and always knelt with a straight back during prayer. What a kind and strikingly beautiful lady she was. I can see her to this day. You were so blessed to have her this long. Your family is in my prayers.

Through Karen, I was honored to have enjoyed the company of June and Howard on several occasions. And it was Howard who made it possible for me to receive the Blake Van Leer Scholarship to attend Georgia Tech. I'll never forget June's radiant face.

To June's family I send my deepest sympathy. I met Junie when she came to sit with her good friend Mary Louise Bagby while Dr. Bagby was having tests. Junie brought sunshine where ever she went. Rest in peace dear lady.

June's spirit lives on in each of us that she befriended. She made each person feel that they were the most important person in her life at the moment she was speaking to you, or more likely, listening to you. It's rare talent - and a beautiful one that I continue to try to emulate. Godspeed Miss Junie...

Karen, Howard and Tom: I have so many wonderful memories of Mr. T and Ms. Junie and so many things in my home gifted by them. They were the most wonderful couple I have ever met...truly angels put on earth to make sure everyone else was happy and content. She was so full of life and it was most contagious! I know you will miss her deeply, but think of all the memorable years you had with her! My thoughts and prayers are with all of the Tellepsen family.

The words "great things come in small packages" were never more true than when describing Mrs. Tellepsen. As with everyone else, she truly made you feel like you were the most important person in the room when she spoke to you. David and I were honored to have been in her presence the fews times that we were. Our love to all the Tellepsens.

Karen and Howard, about three years ago, I saw your mom at church. We had a short visit. She still had a fantastic memory about teaching Sunday School at St. James and as always, she looked beautiful. As my Sunday School teacher when I was confirmed, she had made a great impression, at age ten. She made every class so much fun for her very chatty class of girls and I am sure that was not easy! She was one of the people that my mom spoke so highly of first meeting at St. James, as well. They were both born in 1916. I will always remember your mom with great fondness, for being such a loving and kind person. She told me in our short visit that she attributed her longevity to living a clean life, but I think she was truly an angel put on earth. May the good memories help in your loss. I will have to confess, that I gasped when the minister mentioned that she had left this earth...but, in her honor, I was trying to not be sad. How wonderful that you had her bright smile for ninety eight years.

Tom & Karen:
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Even though I did not know Mrs. Tellepsen personally but my father (Sonny Landeche) talked about her all the time. He thought the world of her and how it was an honor to have known her. I know she will be missed by all. God bless to the Tellepsen family.

generous with her time and her smiles.
ALL of St. Martin's will surely miss her
and her generous contributions over the years.

Dear Karen and Howard -
Oh my ... I don't remember not knowing her and her loving, caring, joyful energy! She was and will remain an "Amazing Grace" in all lives she touched ... and they were legion.
I believe that at the end of life as we know it, we pass into the profound Memory of God. It follows that since God is eternal that by being remembered by Him means we will live forever with Him.
Please know that Cheryl, Pam, Marty and Steve join me in this and we all greet you on behalf of our now departed parents who loved your parents and family: Lurlyn and Durwood, Kenneth and Virginia Shamblin along with Kenneth, Jr. and Doris and Ben Curtis.
With the greatest of respect and the deepest affection -
Jon Hugh

What a lovely lady, with a warm heart and the most infectious smile I have ever had the pleasure to know. I grew to adore her as I dare say all of St. Martin's did. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. She will be missed as only one can imagine a lady of such warmth and grace would be. God Bless all she leaves behind for she is now at peace and in the place we all hope to be one day.
