Pat, I just found out this afternoon about Kyle's death. I was saddened to hear of his passing. You were an awesome friend at TCS, and I didn't know that his cancer had returned. I will keep you in prayer, my precious friend. I am so sorry for you and your family's loss of such a dear son.

I wanted you to know that although I did not know Kyle personally, I had been receiving prayer requests and updates on Kyle's condition regularly and have been so incredibly moved by his battle and the faith and love of his family. Please know that his courage and his life and the faith of all of you have impacted lives that you may never hear of. Your family will continue to be in my prayers and I know you now have such a very special angel loving, protecting, and covering you. God bless you now and always.

Love in the Lord,
Rhonda

Hey Kyle it is me Kirsten Stokes... I remember way back to first grade when I met you. We had so much fun in Mrs. Shaver's class all the way through 6th grade we grew up. Playing capture the flag, kickball, and so many other things. Chariot races, playing boys vs. girls on the playground. Times we're so fun and i just wanted to say that you were and still are an awesome friend to me. Even though you have moved on you live on in many people's hearts. I hope you rememeber that one day me and you were joking around about our intials and found out we almost have the same. K.D.S. and K.B.S. Well it is sad to know that you have gone, but awesome at the same time to know your up in heaven partying and having a AWESOME time with Jesus. Also, to let you know I am so glad Ian, Matt, and I all went to see you in the hopsital. I also want to let you know I will go visit you up in Brenham because I go up there alot. Kyle you were a great person and T.C.S. memories will live on in me forever and always. See you up in heaven.... Don't have too much fun up there with out all of us.
P.s. Field trips, lunches, sports, and many more things were a blast and being your friend is and was awesome too.

Our hearts ache from the pain of loosing a cherished Angel. There are so many wonderful memories of Kyle. One of the teachers in the earlier years of TCS wanted her seating to be boy, girl, boy, girl. Having only one daughter, I was overprotective. Some of the boys in the class were a little more "rough" than others. Every time the teacher would move Lauren away from Kyle, I would immediately request she move Lauren right back next to him. I always knew with Kyle's compassionate demeanor, Lauren would be protected...like the Angel he is. Kyle will always hold a very special place in our hearts. Larry, Pat & Valerie, my prayers are with you.

Kyle was such an incredible young man and he impacted the lives of so many people with his courage and his love for the Lord. We all grew to respect Kyle for the bravery and faith he showed since he first became ill. Because of this, Kyle will always be a hero to us.

When we think of Kyle, we think of his beautiful and contagious smile, his incredible sense of humor, and his love for baseball and the Houston Astros. I know that Jesus was waiting there on Good Friday to welcome his faithful son home with open arms. He is now free and out of pain, and has suited up to play some baseball with the Angels. Heaven just became a little brighter place now that Kyle is there.

Larry, Pat, and Val...our thoughts and prayers are with you all right now. Please call on us if there's anything we can do for you.
