Lumir "Lu" Christ, born the 13th of November 1936, in Weimar, Texas, passed away peacefully on the 2nd of October 2025, in Houston, Texas.
Lu was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Susan Christ. He is survived by his children, Bryan Christ and wife Stacey, Stacy Christ, Cami Goff and husband John, and Charlie Christ and wife Evans; and by his cherished granddaughters, Lucie & Lily Melcher and Madeline & Sara Christ.
A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Lu will be remembered for his warmth, quiet strength, and the love he shared with his family and friends.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from four o'clock in the afternoon until six o'clock in the evening on Sunday, the 12th of October, in the grand foyer of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston.
A Mass of Christian Burial is to be conducted at two o'clock in the afternoon on Monday, the 13th of October, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 6800 Buffalo Speedway in Houston.
Lu's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
