Though I didn't know Maria well or long,I did enjoy meeting her and talking with her as she became part of our circle of friends. We had looked forward to getting to know each other better and spending some time cooking together.I do pray that the time she spent with us was enjoyable.I will remember her as a lively, vibrant woman with everything to look forward to !
My deepest sympathy to her family !

Maria was a dear friend during our growing years. We were gymnastics buddies, training, competing, and having lots of sleepovers together. She was a true friend and I have always cherished her friendship. We have re-connected twice since childhood, and I still have her message on my voicemail at work. I am so sorry for those who have had her in their lives now and have lost her. God bless you all.

To Maria’s Family:
Maria and I were close friends during our college years - and especially during the summers when we both worked in Portsmouth, NH.
I often think back to those days with Maria with great fondness and a smile. She was a tremendous person and I was privileged to be able to call her my friend.
It’s been 20 years since Maria and I last spoke, but it should tell you something that, after all this time, I still think of her often and I truly wish I was able to speak to her one last time. She touched many people and your sadness is share by all those who knew Maria.
I will continue to hold Maria in my heart. Jeff
