My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. I remember Mark's first day at the bank in project management. We discovered that we had both lived in Maryland during the same time and laughed about having visited some of the same places in Silver Spring and DC. He was an exceptionally bright young man, who
loved his family dearly. We will miss him at Amegy. God Bless.

I was speachless to hear of Mark's passing. He and I worked together at Amegy, he had such a way of cutting through the layers to come up with the real issue at hand. We also had good rivalry going between his Maryland Terps and my WVU Mountaineers. We learned we attended these colleges at the same time and most likely were at some of those games together, though on opposite sides :) While I cannot imagine the void to be filled at his office, the void in his family and personal life is infinite. He was so proud of you, his family. His love and compassion were so evident. Shared prayers and a soft embrace to you all.

Dear Carol,Sherman,Pam and family-We were saddened by Mark's sudden death. We knew Mark as a youth back in Peabody,MA. My wife Shirley was his 3rd grade teacher and was always very fond of him. We remember Mark as a pleasant, intelligent and nice young man. Even though I haven't seen him in a while I've heard that he was a true family man and accomplished individual. Pam - I knew you back in the USY days, and was so very happy for Mark when he met and married you. Mark was a fun-loving, easygoing, and steadfast good friend and "fraternity brother" of mine at U of Md. He will be missed by those closest to him physically and those who remained close to him in many ways just by being able to have had him in our lives. He was a good man...

I was surprised and saddened when I received news of Mark’s passing. We worked together on projects and committees at Amegy, and I always had a great deal of respect for his ethics and professional judgment. A broad smile comes to my face as I reflect back on several instances where he was willing to state the obvious in our meetings.
I knew Mark to be a righteous man and it is my sincerest wish that God will smile upon him, his family, and the congregation. My prayers and condolences are with you in this time of sorrow.

My thoughts and prayers are with each of you. I worked with Mark at Amegy Bank for many years. He was a wonderful man....kind, smart and generous. He adored his family and was so proud of his children. He loved to talk about his kids. We would share funny stories and even parenting thoughts and advice. One afternoon I talked with Mark about how my daughter was struggling at school. He told me how one of his kids had also struggled, so he had made a promise that he would pass the grade with them. Using Mark's advice, I can happily say that my daughter and I passed 6th grade together. At the end of the year, Mark and I shared a nice high five together. :)
I admired his strength, patience and positive attitude. Mark was a special man and I will truly miss him.

Dear Pam, Alyssa, Josh and Max:
I was heart broken when I was told of Marks passing. I have many fond memories of our days at the University of Maryland and Delta Sigma Pi Fraternity. As the Fraternity wrote when a brother passes, "He was a man of commerce. A man of Delta Sigma Pi. The world is better because he dwealt upon it." He will be sadly missed. My heart and prayers go out to you.

Mark was my best friend and accountability partner for many years. I am saddened by the loss but thankful for his impact on my life. We shared pain and joy along the journey. We laughed until we cried on more than one occasion. I could always count on him to listen and provide a dose of wisdom. Some reading this will not understand the following statement. But that’s ok. It is an inside joke….. It’s no longer 8-31 Mark! I miss you already. May God grant you and your family the blessing joy and eternal peace. Shalom my friend.
