1937-2019
Mary Carolyn Wilkins, 81, of Willis, TX passed away Friday, January 4, 2019. The family will greet friends 5-8pm Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at Klein Funeral Home. A funeral service will be 10am, Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Klein Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Klein Memorial Park, SH249.

MC was a great person from an equally great family. She had an adventureistic sense of humor, was a good wife, mother, parent and Grand parent. She was scholarly, and a creative writer, and of course, college actress. In high school she was very popular with her girlfriends, as she had access to her dad, Greer's 1953 Buick straight eight, to drag Main in. In college she was capable of sending secret messages by Morse code. She could type faster than most people could take shorthand (120 WPM), and did very well in her business jobs. She was sports saavy, and loved being a soccer parent and piano lesson parent. She was a loving daughter-in-law and a credit to any family gathering. I was blessed to have been a husband to her until I went awry in a mid-life crisis. My bad. Anyone who knew her will always know they were blessed, and miss her.

A sweet and gentle person. I was blessed to have known her from the 7th grade on. She always had such a delightful smile that you felt better just looking at her. My thoughts and prayers are with all your family. You were truly blessed to have had her in your lives.
