Mr. Bettis was a great neighbor & always so kind to our kids. Moving into Lakeway 6 years ago, Mr. & Ms. Bettis were very welcoming as neighbors & we had an instant bond through our mutual love of our labradors. We are grateful for the friendship & he will sorely be missed. To Ms. Sherry & the entire family, you have our deepest sympathy.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6)

My condolences go out to Michael's family and friends. May you find comfort at Isaiah 51:12 to know that God is the "One comforting you". By prayer he will give you strength and comfort you in this difficult time.
