At the age of 8, I new this really big, cool guy who played professional football. I remember watching his games on TV and telling my dad "Hey, there's Mike." I also remember when he would come into my grandmother's cafe, he always left me and my little sister a "big" tip. We will always have those fond memories of him. God bless his family. May God grant you peace in knowing he is in a place to watch over you always.

My condolences to Mike's family. Although I did not personally know Mike, his brother Fred spoke so highly of him I knew he was a very special person. I am sorry for your great loss. May you find comfort and peace knowing that Mike is with God in Heaven now. Even though he is no longer here, he will always be near in your heart.

I was so happy when Mike came into our lives. He was the best thing that ever happened to my baby sister and I will always be grateful to him for how he treated my nephews and my sister. He was the most positive man that I have ever met and always faced life with a smile. He will be so missed...but I know he is up in heaven - healthy and will watch over us all.

My dear husband with that infectious smile will be so deeply missed. You were the light of my life, my beacon in the night ... how will I find my way without you? Thank you for being a wonderful husband, father to Michael and step father to Johnny and James. Remember ... "Don't cry because it is over, smile because it happened". Mike made me a better woman and for that I am forever grateful. Rest in peace my love until we meet again in Heaven.
