To Susan and all of Mike's family and friends, as his neighbor for 7 years I will never forget the kindness and neighborly love Mike showed us. Whether it was offering up a cold beer on a hot summer day, helping tear up my old deck (without even asking him to help), and especially cutting wood till nearly midnight prior to the hurricane (most of the wood for my home), Mike was just that kind of guy. My heart goes out to Susan and all those who were blessed to have him in their lives. His larger than life presence will be greatly missed here in Pearland.

Mrs. Myers,

I worked indirectly with Mike over the past 4 to 5 years, and during that time I learned that Mike was one of the most pure hearted people that I have ever met. He had a love for life and people that was contagious, and I feel honored to have been a small part of his life.
"Words" cannot express the sincere sorrow I have for your loss, and pray that Mike's life here on earth will continue to be fruitful within your soul.
May God bless you, your family, and the Montgomery Machine staff during this time of grieve.

I knew Mike at Bona's and always remember him in a good mood and having fun...never a bad word for anyone. Just seeing people adding to this book after 30+ years is the best testament possible to the nature of "The Bear"

To Susan and Mike's family: I had the great pleasure of meeting Mike in college and even roomed with him for awhile in Houston. The man was truly larger than life. My life is better for having known him and the world is worse without him in it.

Dearest Susan,
For your loss there are no words. May our prayers and our love be a comfort to you.

Mike and I were college buddies and I've retained many fond memories of Mike. We were only together for 4 years but he has and will always remain a buddy. The Bear will never be forgotten.

To Susan, Mr. and Mrs. Myers, Julie, Joe, and Cindy, It was truly an honor and a priviledge to have had Mike as a friend all these years. He was one of a kind, from high school through college and clearly through his years in Texas, Mike was loved by everyone. He will never be forgotten by any of us, and will remain in my heart forever.
