You left that day,

wasn't giving you a second chance.

Deri,
Mike was such a good friend and neighbor to me since the day we moved in. I will miss his friendship, his fun loving wit, our afternoons sharing a beer, and his hand always extended in friendship whenever I needed a hand. I am here to help you whenever you need me. I'm so sorry to hear about Mike. I knew him from Gowan several years ago. He was special, always kind and good natured, and had a sense of fun about him. I can still remember his little grin. My thoughts and prayers are with you as you deal with your loss.

The first time I met Mike I thought, "what a cool guy". That was at least 12 to 14 years ago and I still feel the same way. Deryl, Katie, Roi, and Molly I love you guys.

I met Mike 20 years ago. I worked for him as an apprentice and he was the foreman. I always enjoyed talking with Mike and learning from the vast experience and knowledge that he had. He is greatly missed already and always will be. My condolences go out to his family and all that had the pleasure of knowing Mike.

I Never had the pleasure of meeting Mike nor his Family, but I have heard alot about Mike over the years from my Dad John who just recently retired from Local 54. My Dad would share story's with our family about how big of a Heart he had for his family & Son-in-Law. I am Honored that my Dad and Uncle & Brother-in-Law and Husband had the pleasure of working with Mike. My Heart goes out to Mike's entire Family & his Friends.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Deri, Katie and their families. Mike will always be part of my memories of summers in Iowa, and Aunt Zelma and Uncle Vint. Mike was a friend and fellow worker, though I worked as a pipefitter. Mike worked with me a Texaco for a while and I grew to like and respect him.We remained friends even after I moved on to different aspects.He was a great friend. He will be greatly missed by all. The world is a sadder place, but knowing Mike he will be banging away up there.

Mike will be missed by a lot of people that his family never even met. I worked with and for Mike, and he was always supportive, treated you like you were his family. He talked a lot about being a Grandpa and his love for his family. May God, friends,and loved ones help and support you through this time of grief.

Mike was co-worker, a friend, a source of humor, and a great, gentle man. His departure leaves a hole in my heart and a sadness that will be difficult to overcome. We’ll miss you Mike.

sixpack like you and i always said, work was work, because we were good. family was great, because we were grateful to have and be in one. grandkids, priceless!!!! love ya man, gonna miss you. i been praying for your stepson and now i will do same for your wife and family. world lost a very good and great person. universe just gained a true star. shine down on the rest of us good friend. peace be with your loved ones.
