In a conversation about the clinic on Barataria in Marrero is how I found all these years after that Dr. Fustok passed away, and it made me feel so sad to find this out. He was a very nice, caring soft spoken doctor who delivered my son Fernando at West Jefferson hospital in 1995. He made me feel very comfortable during my delivery. I remember his nice smile and his pretty eyes. RIP Dr. Fustok.

We have lost a wonderful spirit. Dr. Fustok delivered both of my daughters (6/25/96 and 12/7/05). I searched high and low to find him for my second pregnancy due to the wonderful care I received during my first pregnancy. I find it hard to believe that this uncomparable man has left us. May God bless and keep his family. I, for one, can tell you that his memory is sure to live on through ALL of his patients. He touched all lives he came across.

To the family of Dr. Fustok,

I was saddened to hear of Dr. Fustok's death. In early November I had the pleasure working under him at his clinic as one of his medical students. He was a passionate man, full of life and stories. He was a wonderful teacher and a great doctor.

He leaves a rich legacy with all of the people he has touched in his life. My deepest condolences.

Dear Dr. Fustok and family,

I am so sorry to hear about what happend. He was a great doctor he just delivered my little girl on november 14, 2006. I could have never done it without his support. Even when everything looked there worse he made me keep my head up high. ( even though i was so highly medicaded) I hope everything goes well. Good luck it will be hard to realize hes gone but he is in a much better place now. And he will be missed very much. I will keep his family in my prayers.

Dear Family of Dr. Fustok,
I am Dan Kravitz, a third year medical student at Tulane University. I was one of a fortunate handful of students that got to learn under his helpful guidance.

He was ALWAYS one of the most sincere and friendly people I've ever known. Dr. Fustok was truly one of the great Doctors I've ever worked with and know that we are all at a loss without him. Every student he touched learned so much and will truly be a better physician thanks, in large part, to him.

His daughter and family were always a source of pride to him. He loved his daughter so much and ALWAYS spoke with such love and pride about her. His love for her was a large part of why he was always such a wonderful person to be around.

We will miss him dearly, but also remember how lucky we were to have gotten to work with him for any period of time. He was truly a great man and will never be forgotten!

Thank you all for sharing him with us.
