Nancy Danforth Obituary

NANCY McKEE GRANT DANFORTH, 77, a loving mother, grandmother and sister, died August 4, 2004. She is preceded in death by her parents, Rear Admiral Lucien and Marie Grant; two sisters, Mary Kelley and Dorothea Grant. She is survived by her sister, Pauline Turner and husband, Charles; five daughters and three sons: William Hindman, Celia Stewart and husband, Richard, George Danforth and Kate Krammer, Letitia Wilhelm and husband, Bruce, Andrea Collins and husband, Ray, Julie Leinberger and husband, Bruce, Amy Ripley and husband, Rick, Douglas Danforth; fifteen grandchildren: Brien and Justin Hindman, Christopher, Cate and Lauren Stewart, David, Julie, Robbie and John Wilhelm, Kristin and John Leinberger, Emily and Alex Collins, and Sarah and Will Ripley. A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, August 10, 2004, at 10:00 a.m. at St Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 6800 Buffalo Speedway, Houston, Texas. Our family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at SICU at Methodist Hospital for their care and support, especially, Dr. Huy Vinh, Dr. Gina Khraish, Dr. Ana Blackmon and Dr. Nurriddin. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Catholic Charities or a charity of your choice.
