Omelia Edwards Barnes, age 89, of Tomball, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 9, with visitation to begin at 10 a.m., at Carverdale Community Fellowship, 10028 Algiers Rd., Houston 77041.

Omelia helped raise our kids (Andy, Brach & William) when they were young for several years in the 1980s. She was like a member of our family. We will never forget her. Eternal rest grant unto her O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon her.
