Patsy Martin Obituary
09/14/1943 - 07/03/2025
Patsy Lynn Martin, age 81, passed away in Chicago, Illinois, on July 3, 2025. Pat held a BA and MA in English from Sam Houston State University. She spent 27 years teaching English in Austin and LaPorte, and in 1998-1999 she was honored as "Teacher of the Year."
Pat was married to Raymond Hance Martin for 49 years and is survived by their only child, Sarah Martin Katz.
A graveside service will be held at IOOF Cemetery in Georgetown, Texas, at 11:30 am on Saturday, September 27, with a memorial lunch to follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Baytown Library or the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
