Jimmie Reddell

Jimmie Reddell passed away at his residence on Monday, January 19, 2026, at the age of 96. He was born in Baytown, Texas and was a resident of LaPlace, LA since 1977. Jimmie was married to the love of his life, the late Mary Thrower Reddell for 46 years.

Loving father of Donna Neal, Luther Lonidier (Misty), Jeffrey Lonidier (Kathy) and Paula Bailey (Ed). Beloved Grandfather of 7 grandchildren Heather, Aimee, Jonathan, Benjamin, Amy, Elise and Rachel and 11 great-grandchildren Lydia, Amelia, Silas, Maddie, Callen, Reed, Myra, Faye, Camille, Olivia and Wrenley. Son of the late Clarence Reddell and Thelma Gragg. Preceded in death by his brothers Barney Joe, Jene (Teeny) and Donald.

Jim served his country as a Marine Sergeant and was honorably discharged after combat operations in Korea. Jim also supported and served as a member of the Masonic Cedar Bayou Lodge No. 321 in Baytown, Texas.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, 2806 W. Airline Hwy, LaPlace on Saturday, January 24, 2026. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with the Funeral Service to immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment in St. John Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
