I continue to work on your case and the justice you deserve. I think of you often and I'm sure you know that. I can't wait to see all of you again.

My sweet Phillip - I cannot believe you have been gone 10 years. We miss you so much. Your smile and goofy giggle. Your dedication to family. You are always on our mind and in our heart. Looking forward to our being together again.

September 21, 2020

Tomorrow, September 22, 2020, our sweet Phillip would turn 56 years old. I can’t begin to imagine what he would be like today. Is it possible that he could be any funnier? Cookie will agree that Phillip showed my wedding guests how to party - he was the life of the party! Would he still have his gorgeous hair - like Dad? I hope he knew how much we appreciated his undying love and devotion to Mom and Dad - even though it weighed on him so. There is no doubt that Phillip would still be that loving person today. He was and always will be so special to his family and all who knew and loved him. Your are missed so much my sweet Phillip!

January 8, 2020

On Sunday, January 5, 2020, my heart was full of both love and sadness. So many good memories - Phillip was something special. However, I could not find the strength to leave a simple little comment, share a funny memory. I cannot believe it has been 9 long years. I know he is safe and we will see him again, but it still breaks my heart. Phillip, you are loved by so many - you are missed by so many - especially me.

Thinking about those we love who are no longer with us and a time when we will all be reunited. What a glorious day that will be!

December 31, 2016

As 2016 draws to a close, we find it has been yet another year without our kind and wonderful Phillip. It will be 6 years on January 5, 2017 that Phillip was so violently taken from his family and friends. The only words of comfort that can be offered are "time will heal the pain". However, we all know that simple words and time do not heal all things. There continues to be no closure for his family and friends, but they must rest in God and have faith that he knows all and that he is our strength. Let the burden rest upon him to provide closure. We know that his family will be reunited with Phillip, Peggy, Ralph, Anthony, Jenny, and so many others they love and miss. But for now, as we bring in a new year, send loving thoughts and prayer to those who continue to mourn so the loss of one "so special".

January 5th 2013 marks the second anniversary of the death of a very special young man. Phillip remains in our thoughts and prayers. Special prayers go out to his ailing mother and family. Missing you.

I just found this while looking for Phillip online. I have been out of the country for over 3 years and Mr. Diamond handled all of our events and arrangements. Houston has lost the best florist in the city and probably the state! My heart is broken finding out this way. Our family holidays will never be the same.

August 16, 2012

My sweet Phillip. Thinking of you as always. Wishing so you were here to talk to - to laugh with. Mom has been sharing stories with the kids today about you, daddy, Jenny and Bo. Had them laughing over stories about your dogs too. She really misses you. She told me her heart just doesn't want to work the same without you. I understand that feeling completely. However, we now know peace will come soon and justice will prevail. Perhaps then we will truly begin to heal. Continuing to love and and miss our loved ones and looking forward to our being reunited.

Cynthia, thank you for your note. The picture was taken at my wedding - hen Phillip was so full of life and happy!! He ws preparing the flowers for the wedding party. He walked me down the aisle. Dad had just lost his leg. I agree, it is still so sad to think about what happened to him. The silliest things will remind me of him and with that comes the pain all over again. For mom too. She mentions him daily. But she seems to be at peace with it, she knows the truth, and her strong faith has helped her to begin to heal. Hoping soon to receive answers - perhaps some closure for all of us.

Nice picture of Phillip. It's sad to think about what happened to him. He did design the most beautiful flower arrangements.

April 8, 2012

Thinking of you today. Took mom flowers and it made her cry remembering the beautiful arrangements you made for her. People always say "in time it does get better". I can honestly say that is not the case when it comes the pain we feel because you are not here with us. Loving and missing you as always. You are in our prayers today! Vi

February 16, 2012

Another holiday has come and gone - Valentine's Day. Could not help thinking about all the lovely arrangements you made over the years. You brought so much beauty and happiness to others. At a time of year when others choose to express their love, it hurts our hearts to know that you suffered so. But we find comfort in knowing that your good deeds will be remembered and, as said by a wise and loving older family member after you passed, you are now at peace and no one/nothing can cause you any more pain. Letting go is so difficult, but we all hold true to our faith that we will be together again. We think of you so often, making it through each day with wonderful memories of the "you" we continue to love and miss.

Dear Linda:

Thank you so much for your note. I agree. It is so difficult to believe that it has been one year since Phillip was taken from us. We all miss him so much. It is his friends - like you, Cookie, Pat and Kay - that continue to help us through such a difficult time. Phillip would be so proud to know so many continue to love and miss him.

December 24, 2011

Thinking of you our sweet Phillip. It is Christmas Eve 2011. It has been almost 1 year since you were taken from us. The holidays have not been the same without you. Clients called your cell looking to place orders and I had to once again share the sad news of your passing. However, many of your closest friends, such as Pat, Cookie and old friend Kay, continue to stay in touch, leaving no doubt in any one's mind that you were so loved and are truly missed. Although there are times the pain and sorrow seem almost unbearable for those left behind, with the strong love and support of Vince, Heather, Jeff, Steve, and even Mom, as well as our extended family and loving friends, we are all able to find strength and comfort. Our personal faith and the incredible love so many shared for you, as well as knowing that soon all questions will be answered, gives us much needed peace and hope for the future. We take this moment to remember the love and kindness that flowed from your heart and the beauty and happiness you brought to so many this time of year through your work. We love and miss you our sweet and special one!

Love Jeff, Vince, Heather, Violet and Steve, and always in Mom's thoughts

Mom truly misses you. Each day she speaks of you. Today she shared silly memories about your dogs - those "loud barking dogs" - and how they loved you so. She was overwhelmed with emotion when she shared that no one could care for her the way you did. Even with all the obstacles you faced each day in your own life, you were always there for her. When asked what she missed most, she said your giggle and your good cooking. She longs for the day when the two of you, along with dad, Jenny and Bo and the rest of our loving family will be together again. Missing my little brother! Violet

Phillip knew instinctively how to decorate my tables for any event I hosted in my home or at a restuarant. I so loved all the planning with him. Phillip also loved my car and I will always have a special place in my heart for him. I hope to find a way to honor him some day as he was very special to me. Thanks Phillip for all the beautiful flower arrangements you created! Rest in peace, your friend forever...Most fondly, Paula

Phillip was one of my best childhood friends from elementary school days. We lived next door to each other on West Drew and spent many summer days riding our bikes around Montrose. I remember visiting Jennifer when she was so ill. The day she died Phillip and I went to the TG&Y where he bought some white flowers to make an arrangement. We must have been about 10 years old. Rest in peace my friend. Thank you for sharing your childhood with me. You and your entire family were never forgotten by me.

His love, devotion and care for our mother Peggy was truly appreciated and will always be remembered. His life was cut short but his memories will live on. One day we will all be together again. But until then thoughts of Phillip's sweet and gentle being and his silly grin and giggle will keep his memory alive. Phillip, I truly miss my "oh so special" brother. Violet
