I had the honor and privilege to work under Sgt Abel...He was a consummate leader...knew how to work with line officers...we all worked with him...not for him. May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Raymond,

Our prayers are with you and your family. I was honored to meet your dad one time 2 weeks before his passing at our card game and feel as though I knew him forever. Reading these entries and hearing those speak at his funeral should make you very proud to have had him as your Dad.

May God bless you and yours.

To the family of Raymond Abel, my dear friend. He stood for me when I got married and has been the most wonderful, and thoughtfull person I have ever known. He never met a stranger and was always there with a shoulder for all. I am going to truly miss him, and so will the many, many people he shared his life with.
