1946-2015
Richard Wayne Bell passed away Friday, August 28, 2015, in The Woodlands, Texas, at the age of 68 from a heart attack.
He was born October 11th, 1946 in Clarendon, Texas and is survived by his loving wife Judy Tice Bell, and his daughter, Jenny Bell Middleton of The Woodlands, Texas. He was also a father to Troy Tice and Brandy Tice Long, grandfather to three grandsons and four granddaughters, and his brothers, Shelby Bell (married to Andrea Bell) and Robert Bell (married to Sharon Bell). Richard was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Steven Bell.
Richard served honorably as a Naval Corpsman attached to the Marines where he risked his life for his country and others in Vietnam. He will be fondly remembered for his patriotism and loyalty to his country; which was unparalleled and his continued commitment to the Republican Party. He enjoyed fishing, dancing and spoiling his dog Coco.
The memorial service will be held Monday, August 31, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at Christ Church United Methodist, 6363 Research Forest Drive, The Woodlands, Texas 77381.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project in honor of Richard. www.woundedwarriorproject.org.

I just heard the sad news about Richard. I am so very sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to all of you. I have the sweetest memories of Aunt Betty and those boy cousins. I laugh when I think of the happy times we all had together. Your family will be in my prayers. Grieving is a process and takes times. May God Bless each of you and give you strength to get through the tough days ahead. Remember the happy times. Just because you don't see someone for years doesn't mean you don't still think and them. I will always remember those brothers.

I am saddened to hear of the passing of my cousin, Richard. I remember back when we were young boys in Clarendon and I always looked up to Shelby and Richard as they were a few years older than I. I fondly remember an Easter that we spent at their
home when I was a child. I believe Shelby and Richard were the ones that hid the Easter

I have known Richard and his Clarendon Family all my life. He has always been such a witty, friendly guy. We were all looking forward to seeing him at our 50th class reunion in September. His presence will be missed.
