A Houston Golf Legend!! I first met Mr. Hauch at the age of 12 as a junior golfer at Memorial Park Golf Course. He spent most of his time on the chipping and putting green. He always had on the bucket hat, and a cigar in his mouth. Fast forward to 2022 I´m now 35, I run into him at Herman park where he´s still doing the same routine at the age of 92! I was shocked to see him. I approached him and he was so gracious and kind, he said he stopped going to Memorial park golf course when they started to charge for parking. He gave me a quick lesson on the "bump and run" chip and that was the last time I saw him. What a honor to be able to spend that time with him. Rest in peace Mr. Hauch.

Dick was a friend of my family for over 40 years. He worked with my Husband Danny for years. He was a Kind and Gentle guy. He was a good story teller and had a long life of stories to tell. My son, Daniel and I went to lunch with him on June 10, 2024. He was in good spirits and happy to see us. As were we. I took him some Cologne that he likes. It was Chrome cologne Spray. Danny liked the After Shave and Dick the Cologne. I would buy the sets during the holidays and split the bottles between them. He will be very missed. Love, The Hunsucker Family

I only met Dick once, through his friendship with my daughter Amy. They were friends in his latter years and I think he was loved and cared for by her as a good daughter would have done. . She told many stories about him, and he seemed to be bright and feisty to the end. May he rest in peace, well fed , cigar in his shirt pocket, with his favorite golf club in hand.
